Strategic and Operational Planning
The Purpose of Operational Planning
"All involved will have confidence that stated goals will be achieved by precise and exacting assessment of needs, coupled to detailed and reasoned preparation and deployment of resources, human and material".Richard Shircore
What we do
- develop a total strategy (or part of one) or review an existing one
- develop relevant Operational Plans for existing Strategies
- use design skills and knowledge to enhance the value and effectiveness of existing programmes of work within existing resource provision if necessary
Programme Design
Surely that's the same as planning?
Programme design is a specialist competency. The aim of Design is to create programmes of work that can effectively function within the resource constraints and opportunities that exist.
Health Promotion programmes need resourcing. Programme Design seeks to capitalise on what resources exist and to create resources where they are needed. Programme Design utilises appropriate methodologies and their methods to create value and effectiveness.
Programme Design starts from an assessment of need and an assessment of appropriate response. Programme Design ensures activity will be ãcost efficientä and ãfit for purposeä.
